Tomorrow, our house becomes a construction zone. Phase one is demolition and foundation work in the back yard, so this weekend we had to completely clear our basement.
Whew!
In one month, we have to move out of our house completely.
We did not have to get the appliances out, luckily. We were able to leave the fridge, washer, and dryer. And the Tempest machine.
And as to before & after, we are already regretting not having taken a before picture of the basement. I mean, we let A LOT of stuff accumulate in our basement. We took 8 Priusloads of stuff to the library, Salvation Army, and dump. Everything we didn't throw away we carefully packed away in the crawlspace (which we couldn't fill up, because there's some work happening there too). And what didn't fit in the crawlspace, we piled up in the house, to be moved very soon.
