Oh Yeah, the Remodel

These days, I sometimes forget that we have a remodel going on. And then I remember why we don't live at home anymore.


Outside, the deck is creeping along.


Inside, the first sign of work in many days is some insulation.

Actually, I'm really excited about the insulation! But things are moving really slowly, which is depressing. People try to reassure me by saying, "Eventually it'll be all done," and it reminds me of the scene in "Apocalypse Now" where Robert Duvall's character says, "Some day, this war's gonna end."
